Herrick Library cardholders* now have access to a great new resource, Flipster online magazines! Flipster is an easy-to-use, next-generation service that allows people to browse digital versions of the latest issues of magazines courtesy of the library, from anywhere. Magazines can be viewed on your computer, Android™ phones and tablets, Apple® phones and tables, and Kindle Fire tablets.
Browse magazines by category or search for a specific magazine. The table of contents has links for quick access to articles of interest. Websites mentioned within the text are hyperlinked and open in a new tab when clicked. Need the text larger? Use the zoom feature for better readability.
How to access Flipster:
- From a computer with internet access, click the Flipster link and enter your library card number when prompted. Then start reading!
- From your phone or tablet, search the iTunes App Store or the Google Play Store for “Flipster – Digital Magazines” and download the app. It will ask you to locate your library, so start typing “Herrick Community Health Care Library” and choose it when it appears. Go past the Google login to click on “Enter your library card number”. You will then see the magazines and can start browsing! The app offers offline viewing of downloaded content on your mobile devices.
