HON Health On the Net Foundation A respected source of authoritative web-based medical information.

Infomine - a virtual library of Internet resources relevant to faculty, students, and research staff at the university level created by Librarians

Lycos - one of the earliest search engines that now uses results provided by the Norwegian company FAST. FAST has played a large role in search engine technology for many years.

Scirus - Searches over 250 million science - specific Web pages, enabling you to quickly pinpoint scientific, scholarly, technical and medical data on the Web.

Yahoo - the web's oldest directory(1994). Web sites have long been organized into categories until they recently began using Google's search engine data.
