Accessible San Diego:
Information center for seniors and travelers with disabilities. Provides valuable
resources for enjoying San Diego.
ADA - Americans
with Disabilities Act: ADA design standards, technical assistance, enforcement,
links to other federal agencies with ADA responsibilities (employment, public
transportation, telephone relay service, education, health care, labor, housing...)
ALDA
San Diego: The Association of Late Deafened Adults in San Diego was formed
to provide Education, Advocacy, Role models and Support (EARS) and meets monthly.
ASHA - American Speech-Language-Hearing
Association: Contains three major sections - "professionals" has
resources for communicative disorders professionals, "public" has
consumer oriented information, and "students" contains training resources.
Center for Aging
Services Technologies (CAST): Focuses on the application of technology to

Hearing Loss Network:
Assists members of the southern California hearing loss community to improve
their quality of life. Resources include information about ALDs (asssistive
